Diego Santa-Ana, PA-C
Diego Santa-Ana is a physician assistant (PA-C) nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Diego graduated from Texas A&M University of Kingsville with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then earned his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Diego grew up in the RGV but is very much excited to call Austin, Texas his new home. Psychiatry has always been fascinating to Diego and he is greatly honored to join the Specialty Clinic of Austin team.
Apart from Psychiatry, Diego enjoys the outdoors, listening to live music and has a passion for cooking.
Nicole Peyreau, PA-C
Nicole Peyreau is a physician assistant (PA-C) nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Nicole graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in psychology in 2011.
She then earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Methodist University in North Carolina.
Nicole is passionate about mental health and the role it plays in physical health and overall wellbeing. She favors a holistic approach to care that is geared towards treating the whole person, and utilizes this approach to deliver quality care to her patients. In her leisure, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and puppy, hiking, and reading.

Mary Greer Dirting is a physician assistant (PA-C) nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Mary graduated from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Educational Psychology. She then earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Mary enjoys all things outdoors especially hiking, running, and camping. She has an adventurous spirit and is always on the look out for a new trail or a new restaurant to try around town. She is extraordinarily passionate about mental health and feels privileged to be a provider at Specialty Clinic of Austin.

Julia Bacak is a Physician Assistant (PA-C) nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Julia graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She is passionate about helping others improve their mental health and well-being.
Julia grew up on a small farm in Texas but is happy to call the city of Austin her permanent home. Apart from Psychiatry, Julia enjoys lifting weights, painting, and listening to live music.

Roshni Patel is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University: School of Health and Medical Sciences in Nutley, NJ. She became interested in psychiatry after her 4-week experience at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. As a Houston native, she enjoys attending Astros and Rockets games. Additionally, Roshni likes to spend her time exercising, traveling and trying new food.
Samantha Eshelman, PA-C

Samantha Eshelman is a physician assistant (PA-C) nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Samantha graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and minor in Anthropology. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Samantha grew up in the Pacific Northwest and worked in both kidney dialysis and organ and tissue donation before attending PA school. She relocated to Austin, Texas after PA school with her husband and young Miniature American Shepherd dog.
She enjoys travelling, scuba diving, the great outdoors, and watching football.
Morgan Carey, PA-C

Morgan Carey is a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) originally from Michigan. She graduated from a small liberal arts college, Albion College, with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. During her time there she was involved in research, campus touring, and the Stock Seat Equestrian Team. Morgan worked as a medical scribe for two years prior to applying to Physician Assistant school. She attended South University in Savannah, GA where she completed her didactic training and rotations. She recently moved to Austin, TX and is enjoying exploring new restaurants, hiking, and the overall atmosphere that her new home has to offer.
Patient care is important to Morgan, especially building professional relationships with patients and earning their trust. Her goals are to serve others and provide individualized care.
Morgan enjoys horse-back riding, running, playing with her two dogs, and spending time with her husband and family.
Malia Scott, PA-C

Malia Scott is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She joined the Specialty Clinic of Austin in July 2020.
Malia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University and a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Milligan University. She loves serving the psychiatric needs of patients of all ages but has a special affinity for treating pediatric patients. She is a healthcare provider who is LGBTQIA ally.
Malia lives in Austin with her husband, John, along with their dog, Noah, and cats, Hazel and Binx. Outside of the workplace, Malia enjoys volunteering with Austin Pets Alive, international travel, and experiencing new cultures.
