Emergency Departments

All Austin-area psychiatric hospitals offer IOP and PHP programs for all ages. Many of these include DBT-based skills training. Additional resources at outpatient facilities include:
This program serves children and adolescents ages 8-17. Two different levels of care are offered depending upon the intensity of services that are required.
+Psychotherapy
Therapy is not one size fits all; finding a good fit is important. Please speak with your provider to receive a referral to psychotherapy. In the event your insurance does not cover psychotherapy we can assist you in locating sliding scale-based clinics in the Austin area.
Similar to the Family-to-Family program, this is a free 10-session program geared toward assisting adults with mental illness to understand their condition and work toward recovery.
